“WOW” Ideas for Weigh of Wisdom Leaders

Here are eight (8) helpful ideas for fellow Weigh of Wisdom Leaders, interested in utilizing the Weigh of Wisdom “WOW” Workshop to grow their Health Ministry and AIM Business and effectively reach more people with this great news that they don’t have to be sick or overweight anymore.

1) First of all, an individual needs to become trained and certified as a Weigh of Wisdom Leader either by being personally trained by another Certified Workshop Leader or by video correspondence. Then begin utilizing this wonderful tool to reach others that the Westbrook Family has so richly blessed us with.

This course is “turn key”. It’s as simple as “gather the people and plug in the video”. It will do 90-95% of the teaching. It is my opinion that any or nutritionally-minded person interested in reaching others, should teach this course, even if

and especially if, they’ve never had the experience of teaching others in a group setting.

This is a great means of duplicating anyone’s efforts as they encourage others to reach others with this life-changing information through this Workshop.

(My wife, Romsey, and I went through the first WOW Leadership Training in November of 2000 and came home and held a WOW Information Meetings for other Health Ministers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Most of them were so thrilled about the WOW Workshop; they immediately became trained as Leaders by video correspondence and began their classes the first of the New Year.)

2) Look for “WOW Hosts”. These are people, possibly those in your AIM down-line, who are willing to provide a home, apartment clubhouse, or other facility to have you, as a Certified WOW Workshop Leader, come to teach the workshop. This gives the “host” an opportunity to invite others including neighbors and friends as well as giving the Workshop Leader an ability to cover a greater area across the city where they live.

Among many benefits, this makes it more convenient for students to attend classes in the evening when dealing with traffic in large cities. Ultimately this enables the Health Minister to reach more people across a large city.

(We recently finished teaching 3 separate “WOW” Workshops, each with “WOW” Hosts, enabling us to effectively and efficiently cover the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. One of the blessings for the “hosts” is that the students they invited signed up to order AIM Barleygreen® wholesale underneath them.

One of our “hosts” whose classes began in January of 2001 was so excited about the “WOW” Workshop that they personally went through the Weigh of Wisdom Leadership Training in March 2001 so they could begin teaching the Workshop themselves.

They immediately began their own classes and as a result of the dramatic increase in their AIM Business, they not only achieved the title of Director with AIM but could see the realistic potential of their commission check from AIM financially allow them to minister full time in their Health Ministry and retire from their carpet cleaning business that’s supported their family for years. It’s easy to see how this workshop can be a powerful tool to duplicate one’s Health Ministry and AIM Business many, many times.)

3) Hold an orientation meeting a week or two prior to the actual workshop to show the WOW Promo video and explain the workshop to the guests. You may even consider holding 2 or more “WOW” Orientations.

Sharing testimonies of how you as well as others have benefited from a changed diet including the AIM Barleygreen® and AIM Herbal Fiberblend are great source of encouragement for those attending the orientation. Those sharing testimonies will be the evidence of the information presented during the Workshop.

4) Release your WOW “Evangelists”. We have found the initial people that attend the orientation are so excited about the “WOW” Workshop; they invite their friends to the workshop as well. This has resulted in doubling the size of our class. I call these people our WOW “Evangelists”.

(One thing that we’ve found very important is to have the necessary tools for these “Evangelists” to present the information to their friends. One of the people attending the orientation said after the presentation was given, “I have some friends that would be very interested in this workshop. Do you have any extra orientation videos and brochures you could lend me so I can show them?

We happened to have brought some extra WOW Promotional videos and brochures with us, so we let them have them along with some registration forms and within a few days our class size doubled.)

5)Hold a “potluck” during the final Class # 8. This enables the students to bring some of the dishes they’ve enjoyed from Rhonda Malkmus’ cookbook, Recipes for Life, and allow the other students the chance to enjoy them as well. We all share tasty recipe ideas that cuts down on “experimentation” for everyone.

From our experience it’s best to wait until the end of the class to eat because it was difficult to get the class settled back into a focused mode for the remaining portion of the class. Considering the importance of the final session and the fact that the video is relatively short for this particular class, we believe you’ll find this format for the final class to be very successful.

6) Let the Wow Workshop turn into a monthly support group. The final class “potluck” is a great way to initiate monthly “potlucks”. It becomes a catalyst to spark future potlucks and ignite a perpetual support group. This is a great way to keep up with all your students as they continue their transition to their healthy lifestyle…for life.

(A number of our “hosts” have become Weigh of Wisdom Workshop Leaders as ourselves, but in the interim, they have been more than happy to host support groups and potlucks. One can easily see the potential expansion of any individual’s Health Ministry through the “hosts” as we reproduce our excitement in them; they soon become extensions of our Health Ministry and AIM Business.

At our first “pot luck” in one of our “Host’s” homes, nearly everyone from the class showed up with their family, totaling about 35 people including children. A support group may consider alternating the site of successive “pot lucks”, as it gives each member in the group an opportunity to share their home and ideas.)

7)Duplicate yourself. As a Weigh of Wisdom Workshop Leader, you now have the ability to duplicate yourself and train other Workshop Leaders through a Weigh of Wisdom Leadership Training video course. The founders and producers of the Workshop, the Westbrook Family, have recently produced a 4-½ hour Leadership Video Training that allows Workshop Leaders to personally train other Leaders.

The cost of the Workshop Leadership Training is $125.00. If those interested in becoming trained are from out of town or out of state and therefore it’s not convenient to be personally trained, they can be sponsored by another Workshop Leader, order the Leadership Training Course, and take the training by video on their own.

When a Leader sponsors and personally trains new Leaders, they will be paid $50.00 per student. When a Leader sponsors and refers new Leaders who order the Leadership Training Course to take the training on their own, they will be paid $25.00 per referral.

(My wife, Romsey, and I became Health Ministers and AIM Members in November of 1996 and since that time we’ve worked diligently spreading the message of the raw, living foods and the importance of AIM Barleygreen®  and AIM Herbal Fiberblend. We began teaching nutrition classes in our church as well as in various homes but for the most part, the growth in our AIM business was a result of much of our own work, as we had no duplicatable tool.

Now through the efforts of the Westbrook Family, we as well as others have an incredible means of duplication, as this course is extremely simple for anyone to facilitate.

Through our experience we have found many people have a heart and passion to teach others information about nutrition and its relationship to disease but because they feel their personal knowledge is inadequate, they are intimidated to teach others. For those, this course is like a well-fitted glove. Still others, with adequate knowledge, who would like a guideline and format to teach from, this course fits them well too.)

8)Schedule a WOW Leadership Training immediately following the WOW Workshop to give opportunity for the students to become workshop leaders.
(We have found that many student would like to become WOW Leaders not only to teach others what they have learned but to make themselves more accountable to what they have learned. Just after the workshop is completed, the students are excited and we believe this is a great time to offer the Leadership Training.)
