Building Business with Integrity

In order to have a lasting and prosperous AIM business, integrity must be the "cement" used in the foundation. Others will listen to those they respect, those who have high principles, honesty, and integrity. In the class series, you'll learn how to gain the respect of others and ultimately a listening ear to the valuable information an AIM Member has to offer.

The next "Building Business with Integrity" Teleclass scheduled is June 6th and 13th at 7:00 PM Mountain Time

For AIM Members to reserve their spot on the class, call AIM on their toll free number and press option 1 or email the online department at aimonline@aimintl.com .   The classes are free but the call center is a long distance call. If, for instance, you have a $0.05 per minute rate, the long distance cost of the Teleclass will be about $3.00.

The following is a class outline of the topics discussed:

I.    INTEGRITY - Ingredients for a strong foundation

A.   Defined

1.     Honesty-being truthful

2.     Uprightness-morally good

3.     Sincerity-freedom from pretense or deceit “Without wax”

(Wax was placed on statues to hide flaws and imperfections)

II.   DUPLICATION - Reproducing after our own kind

A.   What are we duplicating?

1.     Our passion

2.     Our efforts

3.     Our knowledge

4.     Our experience

B.    What type of “seed” are we? We can only reproduce in others what we already are just as a seed reproduces after its own kind.

1.     Lead by example-Our downline looks up to us to be their example.

a)     Are we disappointed or frustrated with the lack of performance in our downline? The answer is in the mirror.

1)     Do we want our downline to take more variety of AIM products? Are we? Don’t we mainly sell products we use? Doesn’t our testimony motivate others?

2)     Do we want our downline to take greater daily quantity of Barleygreen™? How much are we taking daily? If our downline wants to know how much we take each day and our answer is one tablespoon, they will likely do the same. If we take 2-3 Tbs. a day, not only will we benefit physically from the increased intake but we’ll also benefit financially as the sales of Barleygreen™ increase due to our downline following our example.

3)     Do we want our downline to hold home meetings? Are we?

(See Home Meeting Outline)

(a)    Nutritional-Product information

                                         i.       Hallelujah Diet

                                         ii.       Teaching/Training

(b) How to build a ministry supporting AIM business

4)     Are you helping your downline be a part of the Aim family or are you creating AIM “orphans”? More than likely your “orphans” will create more “orphans”.

III.  GOLDEN RULE - Building business by principle

A.   Treat others, as we would have them treat us.

1.     How do we feel when others are:

a)     Manipulative

·        We feel resentful: Our right to make our own choice has been violated.

b)    “Pushy”

·        We avoid them: keeping them from causing us to make decisions we either don’t want to make or aren’t ready to make.

c)     Dishonest or not “up front”

·        We avoid building any relationship with them because they can’t be trusted.

B.    Honor others

1.     Be a good listener

a)     Ask questions: we can learn a lot more about others by listening rather than talking.

b)    Benefits:

1)     Better position to help others: by taking time to hear their needs.

2)     Gain their respect: by honoring them first, they will likely

return the honor and listen to what we have to say.

3)     Build trusting relationships: show we care about them by taking time to listen

2.     Be desirable: be unique.... in a good way

a)     In a world full of hidden motives, a sincere person is a rare find and a valuable friend.

b)    Most people care about others only to the extent of their own gain; so let an unselfish concern for the benefit of others be evident.

3.     Be patient

a)     Don’t quit: endure

·     A pine tree in southern Wyoming, that took years to grow its roots through a giant, solid boulder in order to get to the dirt below, has been there for over 150 years and is the only tree within miles.

Building a business by the principles of integrity may not be easy, just as it wasn’t easy for the roots of the pine tree to go through solid rock, but you’ll find you’ll have a solid business able to endure the elements and the test of time.
