White Flour
What have the processors done with
whole wheat flour? Well, the first thing that they do is remove the wheat
germ, which contains most of the food value, because it gums up their
machinery. Next, they remove the bran because it leaves brown specks in
the four. (By the way, both the wheat germ and the wheat bran are sold
back to the public in health food stores as health foods).
They then take what is left after
removing the germ and bran and bleach it (with chemical bleaching agents
similar to Clorox) to make it nice and white. Next, they add
coal-tar-derived (carcinogenic) vitamins, package it, and sell it to the
unsuspecting public as "enriched bread".
White flour is not good food; in fact
it is hazardous to your health! It clogs up your intestines, creates
excess mucus in your sinus passages and white flour depletes your nutrient
levels as your body works to digest it.
Refined white flour products contain no
fiber. As a child, we used to make glue by mixing refined white flour and
water together. Well, in our body, products make from white flour cause
constipation, which leads to many other problems. Try using whole grain
flours instead of white flour.
